Job Description: Director of Marketing and Business Development The Director of Marketing and Business Development will support the marketing and business development activities of the entire firm. Key functions will include facilitating practice area business development, planning and following up with all firm-contacts to ensure successful implementation of strategies, develop and manage a marketing budget, working with attorneys to respond to all RFPs, develop pitches, manage all events, tradeshows, CLEs in an effort to create a higher profile for the firm. Recommend, recruit, and manage professionals as needed to enhance the marketing and business development goals of the firm. Additional responsibilities will include providing coaching and training to select members of the firm, responding to all business development requests, and building a team of competent professionals to carry out strategic business development and marketing plans. Regular maintenance and the creation of new content for the firm’s website are also required. Working with the Managing Partner and management team to create, present, and manage annual business development plans and related budgets for every Practice and office throughout the Carolinas.
