CAROLINA LEGAL STAFFING LLC was founded in 1997 to serve the need for permanent and temporary legal staffing throughout North and South Carolina. The region is experiencing explosive growth while maintaining a quality of life that is the envy of much of the nation. Our management team has more than 20 years of experience with law firms and corporate legal departments.
Active in professional and community service, John is past chair of the Corporate Counsel Section of the North Carolina Bar Association. He is active with the Charlotte Chamber and serves on the Board of Directors of the Junior Achievement, the Children's Law Center and the YMCA. He currently serves as an at-large member of the Charlotte City Council following over 10 years on the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education.
A Charlotte native, Ashley is active in a variety of community service projects including mentoring with the March of Dimes and volunteering with the Junior League and the YMCA. She serves on the Advisory Board of the Make A Wish Foundation, the Board of Alumni of Charlotte Country Day School and volunteers with Project Hope. Her experience includes multi-office lateral recruiting and summer associate programming.
An art enthusiast and former middle school art teacher, Greta has been involved in the community through the Mint Museum and participates with other annual fund raising projects, including Beads for Needs. Greta's practice focuses on paralegals, secretaries, and assistants for law firms and legal departments.
A native of Concord, NC, Barbara has over 15 years combined experience in sales and recruiting. She works as our corporate recruiter and handles temporary, temp-to-perm and permanent placement staffing needs for large legal departments. She serves on the School Leadership Team at South Meck High School and is an avid supporter of Meredith College. Barbara also volunteers in the community with the American Cancer Society and the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
With over 10 years marketing and recruiting experience, Julie services the firms, corporate clients and candidates in the Triangle area with temporary, temp to hire and direct placement opportunities. Julie is actively involved with the Junior League of Raleigh and her church where she is a Sunday School teacher for 3 year olds.
Liz volunteers with various cancer organizations, such as Relay for Life, Race to the Cure, and “Save Our Suzy”. A travel enthusiast, she has also served as a “Children’s Activity Sponsor” for Palmetto Place Children’s Emergency Shelter.
Lisa began her legal career with Buchanan Ingersoll, P.C. in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She joined the law firm of Leatherwood Walker Todd & Mann in 1987. She broadened her legal career to include positions in firm management and employment as well as a nonprofit organization serving as program coordinator/mediator. As an experienced fundraiser, Lisa assists several local nonprofits in the community with fundraising efforts. Lisa is responsible for recruiting and placement of attorneys and support staff in South Carolina markets.
Lauren services small to mid-size firms in the Charlotte area with their temporary, temp to perm and permanent needs. She focuses primarily on staffing for paralegals, legal secretaries and other legal support roles. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys volunteering with different organizations through Hands On Charlotte and her church. Lauren is also a volunteer leader for Young Life.
